What is PGDM?
PGDM differs from MBA only in the awarding authority — PGDM is granted by autonomous institutes (AICTE-approved); MBA is granted by universities (UGC-recognised). For most employers and career outcomes, the two are equivalent.
PGDM curricula are typically more industry-aligned and updated faster than university MBA programmes. Top PGDM institutes also offer specialised programmes in IB, Analytics, HR, and General Management.
