Yes — NEET-UG qualification (50th percentile minimum) is mandatory for any MBBS abroad if you want to practise in India. The university doesn't conduct any separate entrance test, but NMC requires NEET qualification for FMGE/NExT eligibility.
FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) is the licensing exam for foreign MBBS graduates to practise in India. From 2026-27 onwards, NExT (National Exit Test) replaces FMGE — same exam for both Indian and foreign MBBS graduates.
