What is DPT?
DPT covers basic anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, electrotherapy, exercise therapy, and clinical assistance to qualified physiotherapists. Includes a clinical internship. Graduates work as Physio Assistants.
Note: DPT is not recognised for independent physiotherapy practice in many states — that requires BPT. DPT graduates typically work under licensed physiotherapists. Many use DPT as a stepping stone to BPT via lateral entry or completion of additional coursework.

- 10+2 from any stream (Science preferred) — minimum 45%
- Some institutes prefer PCB
