What is BHMS?
BHMS prepares students for clinical practice in Homoeopathy — a holistic medical system based on principles laid by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann. The 4.5-year academic programme + 1-year compulsory internship covers anatomy, physiology, pathology, surgery, pharmacy, and Homoeopathic materia medica.
India is the global hub for Homoeopathy with 270+ NCH-approved BHMS colleges and 30,000+ seats. The National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH) regulates the profession.
BHMS Eligibility Criteria 2026
- 10+2 PCB ≥ 50% (40% reserved)
- NEET-UG qualified
